Enclosed is a copy of our investigation agreement . We will need this agreement signed and returned with a letter of explanation of the case at hand.
This letter needs to cover the investigation required; your interest in, or relationship to, the investigation; the desired result; the purpose of the investigation; and the history of the case in as much detail as is possible including descriptions and pictures of people, property, and vehicles if surveillance is necessary.
Also required before we can begin the investigation is a deposit based on the expected time and expenses the investigation is going to take, this is covered in the enclosed agreement. Also, this deposit should be in cashiers check or money order form otherwise we will need to wait for a personal check to clear before we can start to work.
Since we don't know the extent of the case we can call you with the amount needed after we have read the letter of explanation. Most deposits start at $500 (one full 8hr. day on average). Background check deposits start at $200, and many times require a release of information form to be signed by the person being checked and we'll need a specific list of things to be checked on. Skip trace (address search) deposits start at $150. This may be included with the returned papers if you desire.
It is best that in the event of this being a LEGAL case that your attorney do the actual hiring of us so that we can better serve you with the knowledge about the court that is going to be hearing your case and that there will be little problem of confidentiality when dealing with the police.
Let me advise you that in the case of lost relatives or the like we must be the first to contact them. This is so if they don't want to be found we can keep their whereabouts confidential and we can avoid being sued for invasion of privacy. Also if it is a matter of needed information from the located person we can keep the contact for you without the concern of the person moving due to being found.
Please, make a copy of the signed agreement and signed letter for your self and send the originals to us at the mailing address. We will contact you as soon as possible as to the necessary deposit.
